It all began with the mother of peace, Midor. There was only her and nothing, but there was no morals, or rather none to
be moral. She created the world, adding the gods of sea, air, and earth to maintain and tend to it. When it was ready, she
made the humans to populate the world, while Miara created the fish and tides and Gode made beautiful lands and bounties for
the people. Midor created Shass at last, giving free will to the people and the sense of choice among them.
It was through this that men began creating additional gods. The gods of concepts like war, travel, and for specific
tribes that were evolving into the early races. Gode chose himself a wife from the humans, turning her into Morlai, the peaceful
queen of nature. Darker gods began to emerge, existing as true symbols of humanity's freedom. Several gods urged their people
towards specific practices that led to them evolving into separate species entirely from humans.
The gods created supernatural followers, particularly the valkries and wufniks, female warriors and male watchers respectively.
They were made with less overall freedom than the lower races, and so the gods were free to create more perfected creatures
out of them. They were, as such, largely beautiful beings, out to see to the peace and balance among the world. Some chose
to couple with the worldly creatures, though this imbalance of will and intent drove their kin wild and they became the demons.
They spread corruption about the lands, creating monsters and bringing destruction and madness. The gods created another
realm and, herding them up with the repentful and eager to please holy army, bound them to a miserable world called the Hells.
There, they were plagued with constant agony and horror, and all they could do was torment those who came there to relieve
some of their pains.
This rose some ruckus among the gods. Some gods began to feud, or to command humans to cause disasters or attacks that
would strengthen their own cause. To restrict all this, Midor sought out all the gods and convinced them to create A, a being
more powerful than any god and with an utmost sense of understanding. It enforced quarreling amidst themselves and controlled
the influence they were allowed over humans. Kryyt and some of the other dark gods refused to have any part in creating or
obeying A, so they was battled into submission and banished to the Hells as well. They were to lord over the demons and the
wicked, but never be able to defy the gods again and only enter the mortal world through magic.
