Shass is a whimsical creature, nearly impossible to predict. He is seen by some as very weak among the gods, but to others
he is incredibly influential. He is known to command the things normally too small to be seen by the other gods. His goals
are unknown, but he has changed the flow of war or saved vital lives countless times. His followers believe that he sees
that all things maintain a sort of harmony. Irony seems to be his greatest weapon, as he tends to support underdogs. He
is the being that gave humanity the choice of free will, and was the first god to exist without being created by another deity.
Appearance: Portrayed as a small, long-haired child in robes. Always carries a tall staff ending in a dice cup.
Priesthood: largely passive, and reminiscent of traditional holy men. They avoid indulgence, maintain general purity,
and respect for all people. Mostly, they are taught to note and appreciate the small blessings and pleasures and discouraged
from complaining, as there is chance in all things. Gambling is especially frowned upon, as it is seen as testing or abusing
their god. The final test to achieve priesthood involves flipping a blessed coin. They are seen as approved by Shass himself
if the coin lands on its side.
Symbols: a blank or 7-sided die, a dice cup, a coin on its side.
Domains: chaos, luck and blessing
Afterlife: reincarnation according do general goodness and faith.
"Jarobea, during his travels, seemed to have gotten lost from his way to Belleville. Curiously, he took a 5-sed
coin and threw it into the air. It landed on its side, the ox-head facing him. He took it and threw it up again, this time
landing on its side with the tail facing him. He tossed it up again, and it turned into a fish in mid-air. He knew the Master
was with him."
