god of death and time. Perfectly neutral, and teaches that death is natural in all things. His people are shown to embrace
and celebrate death as a passing to a better life, but they are strongly discouraged from murder. Din is acknowledged as
having the final say in what afterlife all will receive.
Appearance: a tall man in a long dark cloak that is never seen beneath it. Often wields a highly oversized scythe
Alternate Names: Life Keeper, Infinite Watcher, The Timeless
Priesthood: priests of the death god are largely neutral beings, taught self-exploration, inner peace, and a respect for
the value of life and death. A Din priest is to always attend funerals, even to those of other faiths. They are obligated
to ease the mourning, and the act of murder is taken as something to be even more heavily considered than by normal society.
Symbols: an hourglass, a mostly melted candle, or a scythe
Domains: death, darkness, and time
Afterlife: Din grants his followers eternally peaceful happiness in an otherwise empty realm. Those who ignore and desecrate
the sense of death are cycled through the various hells of the other deities. Din also rules the world of limbo, where the
souls of the neutral, not-fully-dead, or godless exist in an unconscious state.
